u7-U8 Recreational Soccer
For Players 7-8 years old
U7-U8 Overview
The U7 and U8 soccer programs at Colorado Rush are designed for young players with up to two years of experience. Both age groups participate in a 9-week season that includes team training and 8 weeks of games.
Colorado Rush provides distinct developmental pathways at both U7 and U8 levels to suit varying levels of experience and commitment:
- U7-U8 Recreational Pathway is ideal for beginners or less advanced players, this pathway focuses on fun, skill-building, and a foundational understanding of soccer.
- U7-U8 Recreational+ Pathway is designed for more experienced players or those seeking a more challenging environment, this pathway still welcomes beginners who are interested in accelerated learning.
- U8 Pre Youth Academy is exclusive to the U8 level, this competitive pathway is tailored for advanced players who are ready to take their skills to the next level through more rigorous training and competition. The U8 Pre Academy Program is by invitation only, with placements determined during a fall kickaround.
