Girls Academy Overview

Welcome to Colorado Rush North’s Girls Academy where elite female players train, grow, and compete in the Development Player League (DPL). This program goes beyond the game, offering a complete development pathway focused on technical skill, tactical understanding, and physical performance, all led by a highly experienced coaching staff.

Colorado Rush North’s Girls Academy is built to prepare players for success at the next level—collegiate, professional, and beyond. It’s more than training it’s a launchpad for future leaders in the game.

Kick Around Sessions

Club Player Adjustment Sessions within the Colorado Rush DPL Girls Academy are designed to support the ongoing development and placement of our current players as they grow within the game. Rather than traditional tryouts which are May 18-20th, these sessions provide a more relaxed, player-centered environment where athletes can train, compete, and express themselves freely.

These kick-around style sessions allow our coaching staff to thoughtfully evaluate players within the context of their development, potential, and readiness for possible age group movement or team adjustments. As players continue to evolve, these sessions help ensure they are challenged appropriately and placed in the best environment to thrive—both individually and within the collective culture of the club.

This process reflects our commitment to development, opportunity, and long-term growth which take priority in every decision we make.
