For Players 9-10 years old
U9-U10 Player Pathway
Beginning at U9, teams begin to play in the Colorado Front Range League. In this league, teams play against opponents from other Colorado clubs and divisions are created based on the play level of teams from Recreational to Elite. Players not making the Elite team will play on Competitive level teams in the age group will have volunteer head coaches.
At U9 and U10, Colorado Rush offers three unique pathways.
- Recreational level teams are designed with the recreational player in mind and will play in a division suited to the overall ability of the team.
- Competitive level teams are designed for players who not only want to improve their game but also have fun while learning and developing their skills—aiming to eventually play on competitive teams by the time they reach U11.
- Elite is the highest level of U9-U10 soccer. There is one boys' team and one girls' team at this level. Elite teams are formed during annual kickaround sessions each May and are coached by paid, licensed Colorado Rush staff, focusing on high-level development and competition.
