Colorado Rush President/CEO John Carroll is pleased to announce the hiring of Mark Hiemenz for the Executive Director position of Colorado Rush Soccer Club.  A former Director of Coaching for Colorado Rush, Hiemenz brings a wealth of experience both collegiately and at several nationally recognized youth soccer clubs throughout the country.  Most recently, Hiemenz served as a DOC at the Challenge Soccer Club in Houston.  He will oversee the day to day operations and management of the club as well as focus on growing the overall footprint of Rush soccer in Colorado. 

Prior to his time in Texas, Hiemenz was a DOC for Colorado Rush from 2016 to 2017 where he oversaw the senior division of the club and directed the College Advisory Program.  Before joining Rush, Hiemenz spent the 2014 and 2015 seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Wyoming.  Hiemenz was also the head soccer coach at Hastings College where he was named the 2012 GPAC and NSCAA Region Coach of the Year.  Prior to Hastings College, Hiemenz was an assistant for women's soccer at Boise State for five seasons where they were WAC champions and NCAA qualifiers in 2009.  He was also the head women's soccer coach at Carroll College where he coached nine honorable mention All-Americans, 15 All-Region selections and 19 Academic All-Americans.
