SAFETY FOR COLORADO RUSH MEMBERS on COVID-19

SAFETY FOR COLORADO RUSH MEMBERS on COVID-19

Colorado Rush understands that the last few weeks have felt pretty different from how we normally live our lives. From suspending all sports play and schools to working remotely.  Remember, we are all making changes/sacrifices/ to help the greater good.

As the situation around the coronavirus continues to evolve, we’ll stay in touch to get you the latest information when we have it.  Our members, coaches, and staff’s health and the health of our community is what is the most important.

Kind Regards,

Stay Safe & Stay Healthy (Wash your Hands!) - Colorado Rush!!

covid-19 update

April 30th, 2020

Dear Colorado Rush Members,

With the ongoing concern of the COVID-19, we have followed the recommendations and regulations from our Colorado State Soccer Association (CSA), State government, health officials and local authorities in making a determination for our members.  Without question, the safety of every one of our players, their families, our coaches, referees and the  entire Colorado soccer community, was always the priority within the club's Leadership and it’s decision making.

Unfortunately, we were informed by CSA that the 2020 Spring League has been cancelled.  This was not an easy decision for CSA, they truly held on until the last minute, like us, staying optimistic and that there would be a season.  The thought of Rush players working tirelessly between the white lines, with smiles on their faces, enjoying the game they love, was what gave us all hope that we’d be back outside wearing the Rush “R.”  Individuals and teams that set new goals for the spring season, to push themselves to grow, to achieve great things, these goals or aspirations are not to be forgotten.  Hold onto them for the next time you step on the field, as “Passion and Purpose” is what drives us.

For the seniors that represented the Rush “R” to the highest of standards, that lived the 11 Rush Core values, that carried the blue torch so brightly lit for all our younger players, the Staff thanks you for all you did.  But remember, your time at the Rush isn’t done, it never is.  We will send you off in true Rush Way fashion (more details to follow) onto your next adventure, as you embark on your College journey and we hope to see you at Alumni week this winter.

Communication from CSA from their April 28th Zoom Meeting:

Important Resources

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to touch lives across the country and around the world, we’re constantly looking for new ways to keep our members feeling healthy and supported.  Here are a few tips to try!

Thank you!

Colorado Rush would like to thank you for all your continued efforts to keep yourself and our community healthy and strong.  The soccer world is in a tough position, but we must understand this is affecting everyone around the world. Our main priority is the safety of our members, staff, and officials.  As always, we are here for you and miss seeing you on the pitch.  We also understand that COVID-19 has impacted our members not only physically and emotionally, but also financially.  We empathize with those members that have undergone financial hardship during this time. If you family is in a position to help others return to the field once we get through this unforeseen time, we ask you consider donating to Colorado Rush Soccer club, a 501c3 corporation and in return you will receive a tax letter from the club for this charitable donation.  Please email John Carroll at [email protected] if you are in a position to help.

Kind Regards,
