One week after Brian Cvilikas and his NSC Minnesota Stars stunned the Ft Lauderdale Strikers in the first Leg two of the NASL Championsip, the Stars lifted the Soccer Bowl trophy for the first time in the history of the re-launched NASL. The Ft Lauderdale Strikers were not able to overcome the 3-1 deficit from leg one. In leg two to Championship, the teams played to a scoreless tie after 90 min, giving the Stars the victory and crowning them champions of the NASL.
Congratulations to Brian Cvilikas, who played on the Rush ’84 boys team that finished 3rd at USYS Nationals. Rush is proud of you and can’t wait to see you at Alumni week.
