Colorado Rush is pleased to announce the partnership with Will Friend, owner of ProPerformance Strength and Conditioning, a soccer performance training company. Will and ProPerformance Strength and Conditioning are extremely excited to be working with Colorado Rush.

ProPerformance Strength and Conditioning is developing and offering Rush players The Rush strength and conditioning program, a complete soccer-specific conditioning program for year-round athletic development. The program focuses on speed, power, strength, stability, and mobility. All of these attributes lead to maximized performance and career longevity while lowering injury risks.

The program is designed for training teams, groups, partners and individuals to help develop Rush athletes both on and off the fields.

Many factors must be recognized when designing a strength and conditioning program for any sport: age, gender, skill level, muscular and metabolic demands and the specific movement patterns demanded by your sport, injuries common to your sport, as well as detailed movement screening for areas of tightness and weakness which might make you vulnerable to strain or injury. The Rush strength and conditioning program’s highest priority is to protect the athlete and to promote his/her performance.

Training on a year round basis in a properly periodized soccer-specific conditioning program is the only way to increase performance, decrease the risk of injury, and maximize career longevity. Periodization is varying or cycling of training specificity, intensity, and volume to achieve peak levels of conditioning and performance. It encourages continuous adaptation to progressively more demanding training. It also ensures that the athlete does not over train. All trainings are age, and gender specific as different adaptations and progress can be made from age 8 through a fully matured adult player.

ProPerformance training will be available on a year round basis in Littleton, Boulder, and Colorado Springs. As said trainings are offered to individuals (all ages), groups (set your own group of 2-10 athletes or join an existing group), and for whole teams who decide to train and develop together.

The costumers will have the option of paying through Pay Pal on www.properformancesc.com in the pricing and payments section.
