Soccermania is a Rush summer camp for Developmental players ages U5-U14 that is designed to challenge each player's abilities in a fun-filled environment. The curriculum is created to address the needs of all age groups both technically and tactically through realistic game-like training sessions as well as fun camp activities.  Ball control techniques are at the core of the Soccermania curriculum including; dribbling, turning, juggling, 1v1 moves, as well as 1st touch, passing, and shooting.

Soccermania is a week long camp (Monday-Friday) held twice per year in the summer, the first camp is June 11-15 and the second camp is July 23-27. Soccermania will run during the evening hours from 5:30 – 6:45 PM. It is the intent of the Rush Soccer Club to provide each soccer player a fun learning environment and provide individualized coaching attention by providing a coach to player ratio of no more than 12:1.

Our program's goal is to bring out the best in our young athletes, instill self-confidence and boost self-esteem through a fun and spirited camp environment. The program also provides players an opportunity to interact with a knowledgeable and energetic staff, which includes current and former professional players, current and former National Team players, Rush Directors, Rush Competitive Coaches, and current and former College players.

In addition to mission statement, the purpose for the Developmental Branch is as follows:

· To promote the game of soccer in the community and provide a comprehensive and educational soccer program

· To provide a soccer experience that will meet our members needs and allow them to achieve their highest potential and thus become the best soccer club in the state, nation, and world

· To provide competent coaching and adequate physical facilities to the best of our ability

· To promote the spirit of sportsmanship and good physical and mental health associated with the game of soccer
