About Colorado Rush Soccer Club
Based in Littleton, Colorado, the Colorado Rush Soccer Club is a non-profit charity organization established to provide an unparalleled personal growth experience through the game of soccer and to promote life-long participation in the sport. Formed in 1997 through a merger of two local clubs, Club Columbine and Lakewood United Soccer Club, the Rush now services over 5,000 youth players on an annual basis. As a member of the United States Youth Soccer Association and US Club Soccer, the club offers recreational and competitive programs for players of all ages and abilities.
Over the past several years, the Colorado Rush has become recognized as one of the premier youth soccer organizations in the nation. The club's competitive programs consist of the Advanced and Academy branches and service more than 1,400 participants. Since 1998, Rush competitive teams have won an unprecedented 12 United States Youth Soccer National Championships, one US Club Soccer National Championship and in 2012 the club won their first Elite Clubs National League Championship. Rush competitive teams compete locally in leagues organized by the Colorado State Youth Soccer Association. The club also participates in the US Soccer Development Academy and Elite Clubs National League at the youth level.
The Developmental, or recreational, branch consists of more than 3,000 players participating on over 300 teams. In addition to organizing teams and handling league operations for these neighborhood-based programs, the Rush also offers a wide variety of educational programs for players, coaches and referees through the Developmental branch.
In 2003, the Rush brand began its expansion, first forming the Virginia Rush. Since that time, Rush Soccer has grown to 30 clubs in the United States and a membership of nearly 40,000 players nationwide. In mid July of 2009 Rush broke the mold yet again by starting a Rush affiliate 9600 miles from it’s original home in Colorado, by forming the Nkomazi Rush in South Africa. International clubs have grown at an overwhelming pace and number more than 25 clubs in Africa, South and Central America, Oceania and the Carribean Islands.
2013 proved a big year for Rush Soccer with the switch over to new apparel & uniform provider adidas, and a sponsorship with Chevrolet. With partnerships like ours, it's no wonder Rush Soccer is a leader in youth soccer worldwide.
